BSI Kitemark accredited
Auto City’s body shop holds the BSI Vehicle Damage Repair Kitemark — independent proof that our processes, materials and finishes meet industry standards.
All major insurers
We handle direct claims with every major UK insurer. Give us the claim reference and we’ll deal with the back-end paperwork.
Manufacturer-approved finish
Water-based paints colour-matched to your factory code, baked in a temperature-controlled spray booth — the same process the main dealer uses.
Courtesy car available
A courtesy car is usually available while yours is in the shop, subject to availability — ask when you book the assessment.

Common body-shop questions
What to expect before you bring the car in.
Will my insurance cover the repair?
If it’s on a comprehensive policy and you’ve reported the incident, yes — we work with every major UK insurer and can manage the claim from our end. Just give us the claim reference number.
Do you guarantee the paintwork?
Yes. Every refinish job carries a written guarantee against peeling, flaking, blistering or colour fade under normal use. We use water-based, manufacturer-grade paints baked in a temperature-controlled booth.
How long will the repair take?
A bumper scuff or panel blend is usually a 2-3 day turnaround; a full collision rebuild can take 2-3 weeks depending on parts availability. We’ll give you a realistic timeline at the estimate stage.
Will the colour match exactly?
Yes. We mix paint to your factory colour code and adjust for vehicle age and weathering — a trained technician spectro-matches before the booth. Metallics and pearls included.
Do you offer a courtesy car?
Courtesy cars are usually available while yours is in for repair, subject to availability. Mention it when you book the assessment so we can reserve one.
